Are my items in stock?
We do our best to update the website regularly to keep size selections limited to items actually in inventory. This means that if you can order an item on our web page, it should be in stock. However, during the spring and summer months, inventory levels change rapidly. In the event that you order an item which is out of stock, that item will be shown as a back-ordered item in your confirmation email, along with the date on which we expect to be able to ship that item to you. There is never an extra charge for shipping of back-ordered items.
What about backorders?
There is no additional cost to ship backorders. There is only one shipping & handling charge per order and it is charged when your first shipment is sent. Additional shipments are shipped at no additional cost.
Backordered items are shipped as they become available via United States Postal Service (USPS). You will be notified via email if one or more items are going to be delayed beyond the original target date.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
online. You may also place your order by printing our order form and mailing
it to us with a check or money order enclosed. Please be aware that orders
placed with personal checks require an additional two weeks to process.
For your security please do not send cash.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping at Cooltan online is safe. Our secure server
software encrypts information, ensuring that Internet transactions stay
private and protected. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, considered
the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, to protect the security
of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us.
You may also place your order by printing our order
form and faxing or mailing it to us.
Where can I enter a coupon or promotional code?
Occasionally we offer coupon or promotional codes to our customers. To use one of these codes, please enter the code on the “Payment” page of our checkout process. If you place your order over the phone, please inform the customer service agent that you have a code. Only once coupon code may be used per order.
How much do you charge for shipping & handling?
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS

- postage for standard shipping is $6.95 plus $1.00 per each additional suit/shirt
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
- shipped via RR Donnelley international mail courier
- shipments have a shipping fee of $8.95 + $1.00 per each additional item
- Duties and taxes are not prepaid.

However, you can use your own forwarding courier service company where we will ship to them and they ship to you.
We do accept orders that use major forwarding courier services. Using a forwarding courier, you will receive a virtual US address upon registration, and use it when shopping from US online stores that don't ship directly to your country.

When will my order be shipped?
In stock orders are shipped out 2-3 business days for domestic orders and 3-5 business days for international orders, excluding holidays. Out of stock orders will be notified by email about the out of stock situation, and will also be contacted once the item(s) is in stock and ready to ship.
How long does shipping take?
US Shipments:
Domestic shipments typically takes 2-3 business days to process and 5-8 business days to get to you.

International Shipments:
International shipments typically takes 3-5 business days to process and about 9-18 business days to get to you.

- Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking email. Please allow 4-6 days for your tracking to update when your package leaves their facility.

How can I track my order?
We will notify you via email after your package has shipped. To ensure that you do get your shipping confirmation email, please save the email address office@cooltan.net to your address book so that your email will go to your inbox and not your junk folder.
What is the Cooltan return policy?
Our 100% guarantee ensures that every Cooltan Tan-Through item you purchase makes you happy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will make it right. Included in all domestic orders is a prepaid return label for your return until you get the right size. You may return merchandise within 60 days for an exchange or refund. Make sure the hygienic liner is still attached to the women's bottoms or returns will not be accepted. Credits or charges due will be issued to the original credit card. The initial shipping charge is non-refundable. Returns for refund of unworn merchandise after 60 days can still get an online store credit.

Please be sure to fill out the return form entirely, and allow 18 business days for your exchange or refund to be processed. Initial shipping fees as well as return and exchange shipping costs are not refundable. If you no longer have your return form, click here to print out a new one.
Are tan through suits durable?
Yes, tan through material is durable and long-lasting! The suits, cover ups or other swimwear you buy today will last as long as other clothing you buy. Again, some who looked into tan thru bathing suits, bikinis, and other clothing you buy. Again, some who looked into tan thru bathing suits, bikinis, and other swimwear a few years back might have been disappointed, but we encourage you to give these bathing suits another try, and get an all over even tan!
Can you wear them for water sports?
Yes. The fabric used in Cooltan suits is has an exceptionally high resistance to pool chemicals and ocean salt. In addition, the pores in the fabric prevent water from building up inside the suit, which is an advantage for competitive swimmers.
Can you wear the suits in a tanning salon?
Yes, you can if you like to be a bit covered up when tanning but also want to minimize your tan lines. Depending on the type of lamps used and their placement, the SPF level of the fabric can range from 5 or 6 spf sunscreen in the tanning booth, so it may not be perfect but it may also help prevent you from burning if that skin has not been exposed to much sunlight yet. So please be sure to limit your initial exposure to determine what your results will be with each particular tanning device. For those who like to be a little covered up in the tanning bed, tan through swimwear may be a great option.
How do you wash the suits?
Cooltan Tan-Through suits are fully machine washable, but DO NOT machine dry them. Hang dry them or lay them flat to dry.
